Seven days of art, history, and adventure await as we journey through two timeless destinations—Rome and Malta—tracing the legacy of Caravaggio and the Crusaders in a very small group tour (max 10 people). In Rome, we’ll immerse ourselves in the dramatic beauty of Caravaggio’s masterpieces and uncover the fascinating history of the Knights of Malta. Then, we fly to Malta to explore an island steeped in millennia of history, from Neolithic temples and Roman ruins to medieval towns and fortresses. Along the way, we’ll delve into Malta’s strategic role during the Crusades, bridging ancient civilizations and pivotal moments in history.

Rome’s vast urban sprawl is one of the amazing facets of the Eternal City. In this five-day itinerary, we peel back the layers and immerse ourselves in Ancient Rome uncover its foundation built on strategy, intelligence, economy and brute force. We will explore sites outside of the Aurelian walls including Ostia Antica and Hadrian’s Villa and visit Rome’s lesser known museums and sites, as well as meeting with contemporary experts that live and breathe Ancient Rome daily.
