We have had a lot of momentum this past year through our free lectures and youtube videos. It has led to more support and acknowledgment of our important role as a constant educational content provider with special access to ongoing projects, exhibits, excavations, and more in Rome.
As a result, this year three generous donors have pledged a matching grant up to $35,000.00 by December 31, 2023. They will match any donation of $100 or more, dollar for dollar, up to $35,000.00. This is a five year commitment, so as an organization, we have a huge opportunity to build up our annual support over the next five years.
Included in this group of donors are experts in the field. Two of the greatest scholars in the world of ancient Roman art, architecture, and archaeology, Diana Kleiner of Yale University and Fred Kleiner of Boston University, have offered a challenge to supporters of Ancient Rome Live. The Kleiners have committed to match dollar for dollar every donation of $100 or more up to $5000 each year for 5 years. We couldn’t ask for a more impressive vote of confidence in our digital work, creating a library of inspiring videos of sites, monuments, museums. and exhibits on the vast world of ancient Rome and its legacy.
