Elaine Deer
Elaine Deer is in her final year as a History Major at John Cabot University in Rome, where she also studies Art History and Creative Writing. Her primary research interest is in historical memory and the communication and distillation of historical knowledge from academics to the public through popular media and public education. She contributes to our topic entries on Roman sites.
Michelle Paz
Michelle Paz is a multilingual communications and creative writing student at John Cabot University in Rome. She is passionate about cultural exchange and connecting diverse audiences through storytelling and interpersonal communication. She contributes to our entries on biographical profiles of early Roman imperial figures.
Karl Wahlström
Karl Wahlström is a social studies and history teacher at an upper-secondary level in Sweden. He has a lifelong fascination for Italy and its ancient past and continues to study Italian. He contributes to our topic entries on monuments and infrastructure, as well as the Tiber River, its ancient role and its place in the modern city.
Morgan Mucha
Morgan Mucha is pursuing an Honors Bachelor of Arts in History of Art and Architecture with minors in Classical Studies and History at DePaul University. Alongside her coursework, she works as a museum intern, gaining firsthand experience in curatorial practice, museum operations, and public engagement with art and history.
